PolyCast5 is a portable, open-source multi-tool remote to control all your devices wirelessly. It utilizes five different core wireless technologies, all embedded into one easy-to-use device.

Infrared Learning and Replay

Tired of losing all your remotes? PolyCast5 has built-in infrared learning and replay capabilities, allowing you to save all your infrared remotes digitally!

Save it once, then just click on whichever signal to replay at will! All remote entries can also be categorized, named, and edited to your liking.

Types Like a Person, but Faster

PolyCast5 connects to devices as both a keyboard and media controller.

Your computer just sees a regular, old Bluetooth keyboard. Except it's not. Anything a keyboard can do, PolyCast5 can do, but at 100X the speed.

Insta-Type Anything

Create any custom payload easily using angle brackets and click save. That's it.

Real-Time Interpretation

Literally just tell it what you want through the built-in microphone and the insta-type payload will be generated and executed on the spot using AI.

Offline Password Manager

Store and autofill your passwords offline for maximum security while still having the convenience of being able to enter your password in less than 6 seconds.

AI finds the password to autofill but never sees the actual password. More info here.

Control Your Projects Remotely

PolyCast5 is fully wirelessly compatible to send commands to custom devices such as an Arduino Uno or ESP32 DevKit, all within the easy-to-use Arduino IDE ecosystem.

This is done with the awesome, low-power ESP-NOW technology built into PolyCast5's ESP32-C5 brain. Tutorials available.

This is great for people who want to use their PolyCast5 to control unordinary things like DIY door openers, light switchers, robotic arms, or anything else! Let your imagination run wild.

Turn Home Outlets On/Off

Using PolyCast5's built-in LoRa radio, you can turn on/off home outlets and control projects from over a kilometer away. No connection, no problem.

Introducing The PolyPlug

How It Works

Simply use your PolyCast5 to send an on/off command to a cheap LoRa-enabled optional addon called a PolyPlug. Then, it will execute the command using its built-in 15A relay.

Why It's Better

  • LoRa payloads send instantly.
  • Uses 915MHz penetrating frequency.
  • The range is over a kilometer.

  • Set away mode (on/off at random intervals)
  • Infinite distance communication via built-in MQTT

Expand With GPIO Pins

With the firmware open source, PolyCast5 is also expandable through external hardware. If PolyCast5 is missing a feature you want, you can add it using the broken-out I2C GPIOs.

AI Network Analysis

PolyCast5 comes with an AI packet analysis tool to run full and detailed diagnostics on network traffic moving through the space around you at that very instant.

The system prompts are also 100% editable should you ever want to customize them.

Built-in OTA Updates

With a committed plan to be constantly rolling out new and exciting features/improvements, PolyCast5 is able to update itself wirelessly to the latest and greatest firmware, just like a phone.

This means your PolyCast5 will only improve over time. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection.

Make It How You Want

In the spirit of customizability (in addition to open-source firmware), PolyCast5 also has a large variety of user settings with more to come.

This way, any user can customize haptic length, RGB lights, brightness, colors, and more!

  • Set a login PIN for device security.

  • Adjust device haptics (vibration motor).

Open-Source Code

Like I've mentioned, the PolyCast5 and PolyPlug firmware will indeed be open source! With this, you can always customize your device to your liking.

You can expect the repository to become public after the Kickstarter launch once the first few units have been shipped. In the meantime, you can keep an eye out on GitHub.
